Select Manufacturer tab, then enter Cost of production, Profit ratio percentage and GST slab or use slider to adjust values. Once all done, now it will display Gross price, CGST Amount, IGST Amount and Total Tax.

Step 3: Select Wholesaler tab,  If you are Wholesaler / Retailer

Select Wholesaler / Retailer Tab, then enter Cost of production, Profit ratio and GST slab or use slider to adjust values. Finally, you will get Gross price, CGST Amount, IGST Amount and Total Tax.

GST Calculation and Formulae

GST calculation is illustrated in the below example:

If a product or goods or service is sold for ₹500 at 18% GST slab, then the net price becomes ₹500+(₹500X(18/100)) = 500+90 = ₹590.

GST Calculation for buyer, consumer, businesses, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers can done using the following simple GST formula:

Formula to Add GST:

GST amount = (Original cost x GST%)/100.

Net price = original cost + GST amount.

Formula to Remove GST:

GST amount = Original cost – [Original cost x {100/(100+GST%)}].

Net price = Original cost – GST amount.
