NEET PG 2023 exam was held on April 18, 2023 and the result will be out on May 15, 2023. Candidates can also download score card that required to participate in counselling for admissions. The final merit list will be published in the last week of May 2023.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released NEET PG 2023 counselling schedule for admission to 50% All India Quota seats. Aspirants who will secure the prescribed cutoff scores for All India Quota seats will be eligible for NEET PG counselling.
Candidates have to register to participate in NEET PG 2023 counselling. The allotment of seats will be done as per the All India Rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and availability of seats.
Once the result of NEET PG counselling will be announced, aspirants must report at allotted colleges for document verification and completion of admission procedure. NEET PG counselling 2023 will be the basis for admission to around 6200 MD/MS/PG Diploma seats under 50% All India Quota.

Validity of NEET PG 2023 Result
Candidates must note that the result of NEET PG 2023 is valid only for the session 2023 for MD/MS/PG Diploma admissions and cannot be forwarded for the next session. The registrations for admission to postgraduate medical courses is governed by Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) along with the approval of Central Government and the Supreme Court of India.

NEET PG cut off 2023 for general category candidates was 366 out of 1200 marks. However, NEET PG 2023 cut off score for SC/ST/OBC was 319 marks.
National Board of Examinations has set the minimum qualifying percentile to be secured to pass the entrance test. General category must secure 50 percentile, while SC/ST/OBC aspirants must obtain 40 percentile. The authority releases the cutoff scores equal to the minimum qualifying percentile.
On the basis of NEET PG cutoff 2023, the authority prepares a merit list for 50% All India Quota seats. While the respective state authority considers NEET PG cutoff to prepare state-wise merit list for allotment of MD/MS/PG Diploma seats under their control.

NEET PG Admissions 2023
NEET PG Admissions for All India 50% Quota seats
NEET PG result has been declared for the candidates who have secured minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test. However, obtaining NEET PG cutoff percentile does not guarantee admission under All India Quota seats. From all qualified aspirants, those who have scored NEET PG 2023 cutoff for 50% All India Quota seats are called for counselling process organised by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The candidates who have qualified MBBS from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not allowed for All India 50% quota seats. However, aspirants who were nominated by the Government of India under central pool seats for completing MBBS degree from a medical college in the above states are eligible for 50% All India Quota seats. These applicants must furnish a duly signed affidavit stating that he/she was nominated under central pool seats.
NEET PG Admissions for 50% State Quota seats
State governments will considered NEET result for the preparation of state-wise merit lists. NBE provides the list of candidates and their marks secured in NEET PG. The state government appointed admission committee will prepare state quota and category rank and publish the final merit list for admission to all state government controlled medical colleges.
NEET PG Admissions for AFMS
For admission to Armed Forces to Medical Services institutes (AFMS), aspirants have to select the AFMS institute while filling NEET PG application form 2023. AFMS publishes a separate notification and application form for admission to MD/MS courses and counselling is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
