SSC has released SSC MTS Syllabus 2022 pdf along with exam pattern. Paper 1 is an objective type online test, which has 4 sections for 100 marks and paper 2 is the descriptive offline exam, where candidates need to write essays in English/Hindi or any other regional language. The SSC MTS comprises of two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. As per the exam pattern of SSC MTS, Paper 1 exam will be conducted in Computer based mode carrying objective type questions. SSC MTS Paper 2 will be descriptive type that tests the language skills of candidates. There is a negative marking system in SSC MTS 2022 paper 1, for each wrong answer about 1/4th marks will be deducted.

This will test the candidate’s writing abilities and comprehension skills in their preferred language. The marks obtained by the candidate are just for qualifying purposes and will not consider while preparing the final merit list.
SSC MTS Syllabus 2022 for tier 2 exam has Essay or letter writing in English Language or any local language . The candidate would be required to complete essay/letter writing in a time span of 30 minutes.
