CMAT Syllabus 2023: CMAT 2023 syllabus and exam pattern has released officially by NTA with exam date. CMAT Syllabus 2023 will consist of 4 well known sections of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness sections with 100 questions for 400 marks.
Although, there is a change in the CMAT exam governing body not much of a change is expected with respect to the pattern and syllabus of the exam. NTA is the autonomous testing body which will help in conducting the exam for higher education.
The maximum marks for the CMAT 2023 exam would be 400 marks which includes +4 marks for every correct answer and negative 1 mark for every answer which is wrong. Thus there are 25 questions for each section (100 marks each).

CMAT 2023 syllabus has 4 sections of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Language Comprehension with 100 objective based questions for the maximum of 400 marks.
CMAT exam pattern includes following details:
- Date of the exam is January 24, 2023 across different centers across India
- The CMAT exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
- There will be a total of 100 questions divided across four sections.
- Duration of the exam is 3 hrs which will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- All the questions would be objective with four choices to answer every question.
- The test will be conducted online at the designated centers having the basic hardware and necessary facilities available for the conduct.

This is the second section containing 25 questions and a total of 100 marks. This is the 3rd topic present in the syllabus. This section also contains 25 questions each of 4 marks. The syllabus of the section includes topics related to history, geography, Literature, current affairs, Personalities, Culture, a little bit about the finance and economics etc.
The general knowledge covers the general awareness about both India as well as around the world.
It also include Business and Economics such as fiscal and monetary policies, CRR, Repo rate, Devaluation of rupee etc.
Preparing for general awareness is an ongoing process, thus it is important to read as much as possible. One should read newspapers and financial magazines to have knowledge of things happening around.
The section also involves constitutional knowledge, currency and the capitals of the countries, international organizations. You might also find questions related to Photos and emblem identification of various famous personalities and big companies around the world.
