NEET PG 2021: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the NEET PG 2021 application form, exam date and notification on nbe.edu.in. NEET PG 2021 exam to be conducted on April 18, 2021. NEET PG 2021 application form will available from January 25, 2021 to February 14, 2021.

Update: NEET PG 2021 exam will conduct on April 18, 2021 and the result to be declared on May 5, 2021. Candidates can apply online for NEET PG 2021 from Jan 25, 2021 to Feb 14, 2021 on nbe.edu.in.

NEET PG online test will be held in a single session and had a total of 300 multiple choice questions for 1200 marks. The overall duration of the test was 210 minutes. It was held for a total of 1200 marks. 4 marks were awarded for answering each correct question and 1 mark deducted from the candidate’s overall score for each incorrect answer.

  • Eligible MBBS candidates should fill in the NEET PG application form 2021 by providing valid details and paying registration fee from January 25, 2021 to February 14, 2021.

NEET PG 2021 Notification

Official NEET PG 2021 Notification pdf has released on nbe.edu.in by National Board of Examinations. Candidates must have completed internship on or before June 30, 2021 to apply online for NEET PG exam 2021. The exam centers of NEET 2021 is the venue of examination in various cities where the online entrance examination will be held. NBE has finalized 162 NEET PG exam centers for conducting the entrance examination. Candidates have to choose the preferred NEET PG 2021 exam centres as per their convenience while filling the application form. The choice of NEET PG exam centers 2021 will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis. Along with it, candidates also have to select the day and slot of NEET PG 2021.

Aspirants securing minimum cutoff score for All India Quota seats will be called for NEET PG 2021 counselling process for admission to around 6200 MD/MS seats. For remaining 50% state quota seats, the designated state admission committee will conduct the counselling session.

NEET PG 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for NEET PG 2021 were set the following eligibility conditions by the conducting authority. Check important NEET PG eligibility criteria 2021 below.

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • A candidate must have passed MBBS degree and should also have provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
  • Candidates must have completed one-year mandatory rotating internship on or before June 30, 2021.

Candidates who will not be eligible

  • The candidates who are completing their internship or likely to complete after June 30, 2021 will not be eligible to apply for NEET PG 2021.
  • Candidates who will not have permanent registration with Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) will not be allowed to register.

NEET PG 2021 Application Form

NBE has released NEET PG application form 2021 on January 25, 2021 and the last date to submit application form is February 14, 2021. NEET PG 2021 Admit Card

Candidates who have registered can download NEET PG 2021 admit card from April 13, 2021. Aspirants need to enter candidate ID, password and captcha code. Candidates can download NEET PG admit card 2021 at nbe.edu.in by login with User name/ ID and password. The candidates should follow below simple steps to download NEET PG 2021 admit card:

  1. Go to nbe.edu.in or click on direct NEET PG admit card download link.
  2. Enter your NEET PG user name/ID and password.
  3. Enter captcha code then click on submit button.
  4. Your NEET PG Admit Card 2021 will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and take printout of your admit card.

Candidates have to paste their passport size photograph on the printed copy of NEET PG 2021 admit card as per the specifications. NEET PG 2021 Exam Pattern

The NEET PG test was be held on a computer-based platform in a single session. A negative marking scheme has been introduced for the NEET PG 2021 session i.e. 1 mark will be deducted from the final score for each answer. NEET PG 2021 Result

NBE will announce NEET PG 2021 result on May 5, 2021. The result to be announced only for candidates who secured minimum qualifying marks in the online entrance examination. To download score card of NEET PG 2021, candidates must enter their testing ID, date of birth and security pin in the required space. NEET PG result 2021 PDF contains the candidates roll number, score obtained and rank.

NEET PG merit list 2021 has the names of only those candidates who achieved minimum qualifying percentile in the entrance test that was conducted on April 18, 2021. The conducting authority has released the merit list of postgraduate entrance exam after applying the tie-breaking policy. Through the merit list of NEET PG 2021, NBE will conduct admission to around 35,000 seats in Masters in Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programs taught at various medical colleges across India.

NEET PG 2021 Cutoff

The cutoff of NEET PG 2021 is the minimum marks that a candidate must secure to qualify the entrance examination. NEET PG 2021 cutoff depends on various factors such as number of candidates who appeared in the exam, availability of seats, the difficulty level of entrance test etc. General category candidates should score minimum of 50 percentile to qualify the exam. Whereas, candidates from reserved category and PH category must secure a minimum of 40 and 45 percentile, respectively.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling

The counselling of NEET PG 2021 will begin from June 2021, by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The counselling will be held in online mode for the candidates who will be selected under 50% All India quota seats.

All the applicants who have qualified in NEET PG 2021 and listed in the merit list will have to register online for NEET PG counselling 2021. Such candidates also have to select their preferences of courses and colleges. As per the merit rank, preferences of colleges and courses and availability of seats, the final seat allotment result will be published.

Once the seat allotment is done, the eligible candidates must report at their allotted institute for document verification and payment of fees.

The counselling for remaining 50% state quota seats will be conducted by designated admission committee of respective states. The eligible candidates will be allotted seats as per their rank in the merit list, choices filled and seats available. After the allotment of seats, candidates have to report to college for document verification, completion of admission process and payment of fees.

NEET PG 2021 Seat Allotment

The seat allotment of NEET PG 2021 will commence after the registration of counselling in June 2021. Once the candidates shortlisted for 50% All India Quota seats are registered, the MCC will begin NEET PG seat allotment.

After the process of allotment, the result of NEET PG 2021 seat allotment will be announced. As per the All India Rank, preferences of colleges & courses and seat availability, the admission will be granted to aspirants.

In case if there are any vacant seats left after round 1, the authority will organize the second round of NEET PG seat allotment. After the allotment of seats, candidates have to report at allotted institutes for verification of documents and completion of admission process.
